Guidance, not professional advice
Jyotish is a traditional system of guidance and reflection. It is not a science, and Jeevanii is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing on this site constitutes medical, psychological, legal, financial or career advice. Do not delay or avoid professional care because of anything you read here. For decisions with real consequences, consult a qualified professional in the relevant field.
If you are in crisis or considering harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline immediately rather than looking to a reading for direction.
Accuracy and its limits
We compute carefully and document our method, but we do not warrant that any calculation, interpretation or classical citation is free of error. Two specific limits are worth restating. Shadbala implementations differ legitimately between sources, so our figures are a standards-based estimate. And the finest divisional charts, particularly D-40 to D-60, require birth-time accuracy of well under a minute; if your recorded time is approximate, those charts should be treated as indicative only.
Readings depend entirely on the birth details you supply. Incorrect details produce an incorrect chart, and we have no way to detect that.
Raga and sadhana content
Raga associations, therapeutic descriptions and sadhana suggestions are drawn from traditional sources and are presented as tradition, not as clinical claims. Raga listening is not a treatment for any medical or psychological condition. Devotional practices are offered as practice, undertaken at your own discretion.
Acceptable use
Use the site for personal, lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the service, scrape it at volume, probe it for vulnerabilities, or resell access to it. Do not use it to harass, profile or make decisions about other people without their knowledge.
Availability and cost
Readings are currently free and provided as-is, with no guarantee of uptime, continuity or feature stability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. If paid features are introduced in future, they will be clearly marked as such before any charge.
Intellectual property
The Jeevanii name, logo, written content, datasets and software are ours. You are welcome to read, share links and quote briefly with attribution. You may not republish substantial portions, redistribute the datasets, or present the output as your own product without written permission.
Classical astrological principles and traditional raga knowledge are part of a shared heritage and are not claimed as our property. Our compilation, presentation and code are.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jeevanii is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from decisions you make in reliance on it. You use the service at your own discretion and risk.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The date above will reflect any material change, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
